Here is an easy gravy recipe for rice which can be made in 5 minutes. This comes very handy when you don't have much time to prepare a side dish for rice. There is no grinding process involved so this can be made in a jiffy. This is also called Vedikka vitta morekuzhambu in tamil which means tempered yogurt based gravy. Here we go for the recipe of quick more kuzhambu....

Quick Morekuzhambu

Ingredients :

Thick curd / Yogurt - 2 Cups
Gram Flour or  Rice Flour - 1 Table Spoo
Ladies Finger / Okra - 10 Pieces ( cut in to 1'' inch pieces )
Green chilies - 4 ( Slit )
Curry Leaves - Few 
Asafoetida - 2 Generous Pinch
Coconut Oil - 1 Table Spoon
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
Mustard Seeds - 1/2 Teaspoon
Urad dal - 1/2 Teaspoon
Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 Teaspoon

Method :

Make sure that the curd / yogurt is slightly sour. Take a mixing bowl add curd / yogurt, gram flour or rice flour. asafoetida, tuemeric powder, salt , one cup of water and mixing well.
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, urad dal, green chilies, ladies finger pieces and fry, until the color of the ladies finger changes to a light brown, now add curry leaves and pour the yogurt mixture to it and bring it to a boil, keep the flame in simmer while doing.

Take care not to over cook as the yogurt mixture can curdle. when it starts frothing just remove from heat.
Yummy more kuzhambu is ready to be served along with rice.

Notes :

Boiled Pumpkin Pieces can be added instead of Ladies finger
If the yogurt/ curd is not sour then add 1 finely chopped tomato and sauté after tempering.
