Dosa is a world famous South indian dish. I am pretty sure its every one's favorite. You can make Crispy Dosa with the Idly Batter itself. This batter is perfect for making Soft Idli, Crispy Dosa, Kuzhipaniyaram. No need to grind separately for Dosai or Kuzhipaniyaram.
Idli Batter - Required Amount.

Scoop out required amount of Idly batter add little water, pinch of salt. Mix well and keep aside. Heat a flat pan, take a ladle of batter, and spread the batter evenly in circular motion. Drizzle oil, when it turn golden brown in the bottom, fold it and serve. No need to flip the Dosai.
Crispy dosai / dosa is ready to be served hot with Sambar, Coriander chutney, Tomato chutney or Onion Chutney.

KUZHI PANIYARAM RECIPE - With Leftover Idly / Dosa Batter
Iam sure you will love this kuzhipaniyaram. A very tasty and easy to make recipe. It can be made very quickly.
Left over Idly Batter - 1 Cup
Mustard Seeds - 1 Teaspoon
Gram Dal - 1 Teaspoon
Onion - 1/2 No. ( Finely Chopped)
Salt - As required
Green Chilies - 2 No. ( Finely Chopped)
Curry Leaves - Few
Coriander Leaves - 1 Table Spoon
Heat a teaspoon of oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, then add gram dal, fry until golden brown, then add onion and green chilies, a pinch of salt, sauté until onion turns slight brown in color , add coriander leaves, and curry leaves, give it a mix and pour it over the idly batter when it is still hot, add salt as required. Mix well and keep it aside.
Heat the kuzhipaniyaram pan in the stove, keep the flame in medium, add 1 teaspoon of oil in each hole of the kuzhipaniyaram pan, pour the prepared batter till 3/4 on each hole, fry until both the sides turn golden brown in color.
Yummy and Tasty kuzhipaniyaram is ready to be served hot with your favorite chutney.
