Potato pepper fry is a very easy to make yet tasty side dish. It goes well with sambhar sadam or any variety rice. But I always have this along with dal bhat aka paruppu sadam. I love that combination :-)
so here goes the recipe for the simple aloo pepper curry.......
Boiled Potatoes - 4 Nos.
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Table Spoon
Roasted n Ground Pepper - 2 Teaspoon
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
Curry Leaves - Few
Mustard seeds - 1 Teaspoon
Oil - As required.
Boil potatoes with salt and cut it into small cubes. Now heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, then add ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes off, now add cubed potatoes, turmeric powder, pepper powder, mix well, so that each potato cubes are coated well with spices, fry for some more time in medium heat, add curry leaves and give a quick stir. Aloo pepper fry is ready to eat with roti or rice.
Don't skip the ginger garlic paste, without it the aloo pepper fry won't taste good.
